At the risk of displaying monumental ignorance, what's with all the English school-names? Aren't you in Peru?
Yup, I'm definitely in Peru. Some of the schools are international, based on British or American school models. Some are English-immersion, where the kids learn everything in English, and some just have a few hours a day. The teachers are often from the UK, Canada, the US or Australia.
Hello, It is very nice that profesionals like you, come to Peru. I'd love to study at a school like Markham College, I wish public peruvian schools were like Markham College, where I studied there were not yards for sports, there were only 13 computers for 300 students, and we didn't have internet connection. I really hope you enjoyed your trip in PerĂº, we will always be happy to welcome such wonderful talented people like you. best regards
I loved being in Peru! I definitely understand what you're saying--I always wish that I could go to a wider range of schools, not just the wealthy ones.
